Pelvic and Sexual Pain

Pain can present in both men and women. Pelvic and sexual pain affects many aspects of daily life, from sitting to walking and intimate relationships.

Physiotherapy can help by using techniques to relax muscles, improve movement and reduce pain, allowing you to feel more comfortable and confident in your body. In women, pain may be present during intercourse, you may feel it as an increased sensitivity around vulva or during ovulation and menstruation. Many male patients present with pain or discomfort in the scrotum, tip of the penis or deep behind the perineum.
